Light Architecture

Light architecture

At NovaTech, we believe innovation happens when different technologies collide in unexpected ways. This experimental installation is a perfect example of our creative process – combining robotics, kinetic systems, lighting, engineering, and artistic design to explore entirely new visual experiences.

For this concept, our team integrated a large industrial KUKA robot with a custom-designed illuminated truncated octahedron sculpture. The geometric art object was fabricated in-house and featured intricate cutout patterns that allowed light to escape through its surfaces, creating complex shadows, textures, and reflections throughout the space. To further enhance the installation, we introduced kinetic mirror elements suspended on programmable winches, transforming beams of light into constantly shifting architectural forms.

What makes this project special is that it was not created for a client, a concert, or a commercial event. It was created because experimentation is part of NovaTech’s DNA. These are the ideas we explore between projects, the concepts we test, and the technologies we develop before they appear on major stages and installations around the world. Every day, our engineers, programmers, designers, and creatives come together with one goal – to discover something new.

This installation demonstrates our philosophy: technology should not simply perform a function; it should inspire emotion, curiosity, and wonder. Give us a challenge, and we will create something bold, innovative, and unlike anything your audience has seen before.
