Kinetic Light Cubes

Some projects begin with a simple creative challenge. In this case, the client wanted to incorporate cubic forms into a live concert environment. NovaTech took that idea and transformed it into a fully immersive kinetic lighting installation where geometry itself became part of the performance.

Our team designed a series of illuminated cube structures suspended above the audience using programmable kinetic winches and 360° LED tubes. Rather than creating static shapes, we engineered the cubes to continuously transform throughout the show – opening, collapsing, rotating, and reshaping themselves in synchronization with the music, lighting, and stage content. The result was a living ceiling of light that evolved with every song, creating a constantly changing visual experience for both the audience and performers.

To complement the kinetic elements, we integrated large illuminated scenic cubes around the stage, giving the venue a bold architectural identity. Together, the moving overhead structures and glowing stage scenery created a futuristic environment where light, motion, and space became part of the storytelling. From every angle in the venue, guests experienced a different perspective as the installation shifted between precise geometric compositions and dynamic abstract forms.
